Questions, answered
Do I need a card to start?
No. Your first free reports come with full Pro access. You pick a plan only when you want the next one.
Is my store's data safe?
The connection reads only the store you install it on. Your data is never pooled with other stores, never used to train AI, and it is deleted within 30 days of uninstall.
Do I need Advanced Reports for this?
No. Captain Miles reads your orders, products, variants, inventory and returns directly, so it does not depend on which reports your plan includes.
Does it work across more than one store or location?
Connect each store on its own. Sales by collection, tag and category can be filtered to one store, and dead stock shows stock on hand per location.
Where does the cost come from in the profit report?
The cost per item on each variant in your admin, as it is today. Variants with no cost recorded are listed separately rather than left out.
Why doesn't this match my store's analytics exactly?
Every number comes with a note saying how it was counted: the store's timezone, whether refunds are netted, and which return stages are included.
